How to set the Trigger type for a Gift Card campaign?

On the create gift card campaign page, you can find the Trigger type option under the Basic info tab.

 

Each Trigger type option corresponds to different settings. You can refer to this document to learn about each Trigger type.

1. Order amount

 

When you select Order amount, a Minimum order amount input field will appear. You can enter the minimum order value in this field. The currency unit defaults to the currency used in your store. A gift card will be sent to the user only when the total value of the products they purchase reaches or exceeds the minimum order amount you set.

For example, if you enter 100 in the Minimum order amount field and your store's currency is USD, a gift card will be sent to the user only when they purchase products worth USD 100 or more.

2. Selected products

 

When you select Selected products, a Select products button will appear. You can choose specific products from your store. A gift card will be sent to the user only when they purchase the designated product(s) you have set.

3. Selected collections

 

When you select Selected collections, a Select collections button will appear. You can choose product collections from your store. A gift card will be sent to the user only when they purchase a product that belongs to the product collection(s) you have set.

4. Customer tags

 

When you select Customer tags, a Customer tags input field will appear. You can add customer tags from Shopify in this field. A gift card will be sent to the user only when a customer who matches the tag(s) you have added makes a purchase.
